My love of video games led me to create a series of website concepts for my favorite games. What started as a small exploration grew into one of my most comprehensive design sets yet. This series allowed me to develop my Photoshop & Sketch skills and was a ton of fun. Check out the full collection on Dribbble.
The goal of the Apps 4 Digital Peace competition, hosted jointly by the the Cybersecurity Tech Accord, the UN Office of Disarmament Affairs (UNODA), and the UN Office of the Envoy on Youth, was to design a cybersecuity solution that would help people navigate the dangerous waters of the internet. My team and I created Allsafe, a tool designed to democratize access to actionable cyber threat intelligence. Our solution won first place in the competition.
As part of my front-end development learning, I took an intensive React.js Udemy course. The course taught the fundamentals of React.js, including lifecycle hooks, state management and manipulation, and Redux. For the main course project, we followed along with our instructor and made Burger Builder, a responsive web app for creating and ordering burgers.
My Senior Capstone project at Tufts Unviersity was to redesign Ansible Galaxy, an IT automation, code sharing platform. Over the course of both semesters, our team assessed user needs, created design concepts and prototypes, and conducted usability tests.
I joined a project at the Center for Applied Brain & Cogntivie Sciences (CABCS) in the summer before my Senior year at Tufts University. As an Engineering Psychology student, my role was to assess the cognitive state of a drone operator and use that as input into an adjustable autonomy algorithm in a human-drone system.
Natural Color Palette Collection
Beautiful color palettes, or collections of colors that work well together, can be found almost anywhere in the world. In my Natural Color Palette collection, I explore various color palettes derived from beautiful Unsplash photography, and a few of my more modest shots.
I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and in anticipation of Avengers: Endgame which released in early 2019, my friends and I watched one of the Marvel movies every Sunday. Shortly after our Marvelthon started, I created a design concept for a hypothetical MCU movie app, in which users could view the whole series of films, learn more about their favorite characters, and get more details about the movies.
My team at Booz Allen Hamilton and the National Institue of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) with partners Fred Hutch and Oracle launched a website that will help scientists register volunteers for vaccine clinical studies. As a designer and the front-end developer on the project, I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Check out the live site!
Website Design & Development
My friend Michael Jacob is an aspiring rapper under the stage name MJx. He needed a website designed and developed for his music career and I offered to help him out. Here are a few shots (Home, Music) from the mobile design concept.
